Symone earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in 2012 with a double major in Criminology and Sociology and her Juris Doctor from the Dalhousie Schulich School of Law in 2017. While in law school, she spent a semester working at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic and had two placements at the Nova Scotia Supreme Court.
Symone completed her articles at a boutique personal injury law firm and was called to the Bar in 2018 after which she joined the firm as an associate.
Symone’s practice includes personal injury, general insurance and commercial liability including motor vehicle, property/casualty and occupier/social host liability.
Symone is a member of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers and the Black Female Lawyers Network. Outside of work, Symone is an avid traveler who also enjoys cooking and practicing yoga and pilates.
