Jennifer joined Zuber & Company as a Partner in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Partner at a leading Toronto insurance defence firm.
Jennifer received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from York University in 1999, where she was on the Dean’s Honour Roll. She then went on to complete her LL.B. at Osgoode Hall Law School, graduating in 2002. Jennifer was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2003. Since that time, she has practiced in the area of insurance defence litigation.
Jennifer is a proactive, persuasive, and efficient litigator with a depth of practice that spans the areas of complex personal injury, occupier’s liability, CGL claims, professional negligence, D&O claims, product liability and recall, property claims, and subrogated claims. She has worked for insurers and private clients alike.
Jennifer also has expertise in cannabis litigation and regulatory compliance, and has actively addressed the industry on the impact of recreational cannabis legalization on insurance policy coverage, and claims in both the insurance and broader industries, nationally and internationally.
Jennifer is committed to working with her clients in a collaborative approach to develop a litigation strategy that is mindful of their goals and needs as an organization. She is also committed to providing value added services to her clients, including high quality continuing legal education seminars on topical legal developments and on preventative litigation topics.
