Joanna obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, with Distinction, from the University of Calgary. She completed a Juris Doctor Degree at the University of Toronto and was called to the bar in 2003.

Joanna has articled and practiced exclusively in insurance litigation prior to joining Zuber & Company LLP in 2005. Her practice focuses on insurance defence litigation including property damage claims, personal injury claims including motor vehicle tort and accident benefits, and occupiers liability, as well as various coverage issues.

She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Defence Lawyers Association.
