Peter graduated with an Honours B.A. in English from St. Francis Xavier University in 1990. Before receiving his LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick in 1994, Peter continued his studies in the English M.A. programme at York University. He was called to the bar of Ontario in 1996.

Peter’s practice has been primarily insurance defence involving motor vehicle tort, accident benefits, occupier’s liability, product liability, health law, coverage issues, property damage, repairer and storage liens, and fraud.

Peter has advocated for insurers, corporations and individual plaintiffs at all levels of court in Ontario. He has represented clients at trial in the Ontario Superior Court and at F.S.C.O.

He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Defence Lawyers Association.
