Jennifer was raised in Aurora, Ontario. In 2005, she completed a B.A. (Honours) at York University in Philosophy, subsequent to which she was accepted into the Philosophy M.A. program at the University of Windsor. Jennifer obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2010.

During law school, Jennifer actively participated in the Mediation Clinic and received an award for her work in Advanced Mediation.

Jennifer articled at a boutique law firm in Toronto with a focus on both personal injury and insurance defence. She was called to the Bar in 2011 and now focuses her practice on insurance defence litigation, including property damage claims, personal injury litigation, motor vehicle tort, accident benefit claims and occupiers' liability.

Jennifer is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Ontario Bar Association and Canadian Defence Lawyers Association. Jennifer is also an animal lover and enjoys the outdoors.
